Handrails are used in every type of industries, commercial buildings & infrastructure development, where protection is required for moving & Stationary machines.
Handrails are mainly divided in to shop welded handrails and Ball type handrails and based on their manufacturing process.
There are also divided in to various types based on load carrying capacity:
  • Light Duty Handrail :
    220N/m :     For light access stairs and gangways not more than 600mm wide.
  • Medium Duty Handrail :
    360N/m :     For regular two way pedestrian traffic in industrial and storage areas.
  • Heavy Duty Handrails :
    740N/m :     All over applications.
  • Software used : Autocad 2011 & Tekla structure.
  • Design of Handrails is having a vast variety based on Different types of bends, bases,clamping, fitting, pipes,ball used. Here are few types mentioned below.
